PRFSA Annual Summer Tour

The Peace Region Forage Seed Association’s 2026 Summer Tour takes place Tuesday, July 8, in the Flatrock/Cecil Lake area of northeastern British Columbia.
This annual field tour provides forage seed producers, agronomists, researchers, and industry professionals with an opportunity to see research and commercial production firsthand while discussing current opportunities and challenges facing the forage seed industry.
This year’s featured guest speaker is Nabin Pathak of the AAFC Beaverlodge Research Farm, who will present on quantifying nitrogen budgets in creeping red fescue under different nitrogen fertilization timings. The day will also include updates on current pest issues, visits to commercial forage seed fields, and a behind-the-scenes tour of a local seed cleaning facility.
