The SARDA Ag Research team celebrates an important milestone—their 40th Anniversary Agricultural Showcase—on August 5 & 6, 2026.

For four decades, SARDA Ag Research has been advancing practical, producer-focused agricultural research across northern Alberta. Their anniversary showcase promises two days of learning, innovation, and community, bringing together farmers, ranchers, researchers, industry professionals, and families from across the region.

Attendees can explore current agricultural research, see the PRLL research plots, hear from expert speakers during educational seminars, and participate in field-based learning through the annual crop tour. The event also features an agricultural tradeshow, farmer’s market, family-friendly activities, and a catered supper, making it an enjoyable event for producers of all ages.
