DESCRIPTION:Join the Peace Country Beef & Forage Association (PCBFA) for an afternoon of practical\, on-farm learning at a Peace Region Living Lab core producer site in Saddle Hills County. \nThis field tour offers an opportunity to step onto a working ranch where innovative management practices are being evaluated under real-world conditions. Participants will explore established forage stands\, learn about the producer’s grazing and forage management strategies\, and see firsthand how compost tea is prepared and applied on the farm. Participants will hear from leading experts on soil biology\, plant-microbe relationships\, biological amendments\, and designing meaningful on-farm research.
